During the past few months the MiRoR consortium organized a series of training sessions:

  • A webinar on meta-analyses and meta-epidemiology organized by Agnès Dechartres from the University Paris Descartes. Covering topics such as evaluation of heterogeneity, fixed effect and random effect models in meta-analyses, the webinar aimed to provide fellows with guidelines on how to conduct meta-epidemiological studies. The video recording is available here.
  • A training event was organized in Amsterdam on September 20-22, including sessions on science in transition, informative bibliometrics, integrity in science, how to develop a research program and a funding scheme and a practical session on advanced methods in research on research. PowerPoint presentations are available online.

These trainings, organized in particular for providing MiRoR research fellows with essential skills and knowledge in the field of research on research, were open to researchers from other universities. Everybody can now benefit from these trainings by accessing the material made available on the MiRoR website.
