With 13 different nationalities and diverse backgrounds (Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Pharmacy and Computer Science) the 15 MiRoR research fellows aim to develop a network of young researchers dedicated to increase research value and reduce waste.

The consortium met them all for the first time during the MiRoR network meeting in Ghent (October 17-18, 2016): ESR introduced themselves in front of beneficiaries and partners before participating in a speed meeting.

During the speed meeting session, participants were split into 8 groups sitting at different tables. ESRs were requested to briefly present their projects at 3 different tables during 5 minutes with the help of a poster, that they were required to prepare in advance. At each table, presentations were followed by 10 minutes Q&A from the panel. This was a unique opportunity for the PhD fellows to interact with all project partners and receive constructive feedback to improve their individual projects.

Feedbacks received from the consortium during the speed meeting were then discussed by each ESR and his/her supervisors.
